Subtropical, Beecroft, Sydney

When a 1940’s suburban house was getting a complete rebuild Linda’s clients decided to update the original English style garden and to replace it with a more climate appropriate subtropical paradise ~ a style they coined ‘Port Douglas meets Singapore Sling’.

The masterplan design takes in changes of level, sweeping curved sandstone retaining walls, recycled brick paving, outdoor entertaining, intermingling nocturnal fragrances for the party season, the arrival of large mature Fan Palms (Trachecarpus fortunii), and an exciting array of planting to make her clients feel like they were on holidays.
